At M.J. Capelli Maxx we offer toppers. These hair pieces cover the crown of a person’s head to help create a fuller body look and/or disguising hair loss with very little maintenance. There are 3 options of different fibers: Synthetic, Synthetic HD (Heat Defiant), Human Hair.We have 16 sizes topper bases on hand to try on with the option of ordering other bases in. We have an array of lengths spanning from 3 inches to 18 inches available in store to try on during you’re consultation!
Depending on the fiber of your hair piece chosen, you will use the recommended products to shampoo and condition. Using the leave in conditioner and then let air dry, again depending on the fiber, you may need to curl, straighten or you may just shake it to fluff, clip it on and go. Maintenance is very easy to keep up with to fit into any life style!
Longevity of a hair piece depends on the fiber chosen, how often and how long your piece is worn along with proper home maintenance. On average Synthetic and Synthetic HD will last 6 to 8 months, whereas human hair will last 1 to 1 1\2 years.
